Julia Römer Lead Technological Developer, Coolar
Julia initiated Coolar in 2014, and has since focused on developing the technology on which the Coolar cooling system is based.
Previously she developed patents for components that enable comparable cooling systems for industrial applications.
Christoph is responsible for Business Development activities at Coolar. Before joining Coolar he worked at Robert Bosch in Taipei as part of the Asia-Pacific marketing team for compressors for cooling applications and other components.
Kilian contributes to Coolar by ensuring that the overall cooling system is engineered to achieve robustness and durability while accommodating the underlying cooling technology’s various requirements. He is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at TU Berlin.
Arno supports Coolar with regards to product requirements analysis, as well as with developing key partner relationships. He previously worked in product development projects at Nest Labs and is currently pursuing a PhD in combination with a product development project at Bayer.
Roland is currently working as a researcher at TU Berlin’s Institute of Energy Engineering with a focus on refrigeration technology. He contributes to prototyping and technology development activities with his valuable expertise on refrigeration process engineering.
Melinda is an engineer with a background in industrial chemistry and process engineering trained at TU Berlin. As a member of Coolar’s technology development team she is designing components for re-cooling the Coolar refrigeration system.
Alberto supports Coolar with engineering the solar thermal module that delivers heat to power the cooling system. His background is in Solar Technology Engineering and he previously worked for the Mexican refrigerator manufacturer Refrigeración Ojeda.
