Recently, Coolar puplished a scientific paper at the pre-conference of th
e International Sorption Heat Pump Conference 2021. The paper introduces a new cooling cycle for driving solar powered off-grid refrigerators at 43°C ambient temperature. On a flexible test rig, the advances of the new cycle in comparison to the standard one has been shown. In the next month a fully operable off-grid refrigerator prototype with this new technology will start its operation.
